"Matt Thorsen is a direct descendent of the order-keeping god Thor, and his classmates Fen and Laurie Brekke are descendents of the trickster god Loki. When Ragnarok--the apocalypse--threatens, the human descendents of the gods must fight monsters to stop the end of the world."-- Provided by publisher.

Definitely for younger readers submitted by Efrie on August 1, 2014, 10:29am I generally love both authors' books for teens, so I checked this one out, and actually couldn't finish it. It is definitely written for YOUNG readers, but while the language and plot are very simplistic and clearly explained, it would be very confusing for children who don't know Norse mythology.
Great for reading if you like Norse mythology submitted by Thor on June 21, 2021, 12:17pm I read this book because I did not have any other books to read and because I liked the Mangus Chase books. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the book because it was about 100 times better than I thought it would be. I would recommend it to any young readers who liked the Percy Jackson books.
