I've heard a simplified idea submitted by jibkidder on June 24, 2022, 10:21pm that genius is the intersection of autism and synesthesia. If that is untrue then this both is genius and resides somewhere in the intersection of autism and synesthesia. A lot of epiphanies in mathematics, which I believe are explosions not unlike the epiphanies of art, arrive like an inhabiting spirit but are also heavily indebted to visualization. Perhaps, she found her mind taking the ideas of, say, Picasso and translating them into the realm of words. If so, text wore it better.
