Back to Stupid submitted by crazypockets on June 19, 2013, 6:02pm Why, after being completely traumatized by the first part of this last double movie thing, would I watch the second part? Out of pure, dumb curiosity, and the need to finish something I started, I suppose. I wasn't totally disgusted with myself for watching this one as I was with the others. It seemed to go back to being hilariously bad (does Vampire Bella really eat a mountain lion??). There were some decent action sequences, and the soundtrack was alright. I think the only redeeming thing about the whole series came in the moment when Edward confessed that he always underestimated Bella and apologized for it. At least there's some redemption there, but really, who could blame him? How could you not underestimate her? I'm so glad this movie series is over....

Disappointing submitted by jarroyo on June 19, 2013, 11:16pm This movie was disappointing. They shouldn't have split the last book into two movies. This movie feels dragged out. They changed the ending up a bit from the book (probably because the book ending was pretty anti-climatic). If you have watched all of the other Twilight movies then it's worth seeing just so you can see how the trilogy ends.

Deep fried Twinkie: no redeeming value but still enjoyable submitted by cherylo on July 3, 2013, 10:22pm Often a story that breaks a narrative rule, such as changing up narration or showing the same scene from different points of view can be exciting and interesting just by cleverly bending convention. This movie attempts and utterly fails to use the "dream sequence" method of taking back an entire action sequence, because it was not real in the first place but took place in a character's mind due to her ability with premonition, among other problems. There is much eye candy; I for one enjoyed the vampire character played by Lee Pace (Garrett). The costumes and visuals add interest, but even the striking effects cannot save this film. The plot itself turns the protection fantasy from earlier installments into a power fantasy as Bella finds her strengths as a new vampire, but ultimately it is as shallow as the criticism it receives, which is usually of the form "this is terrible." If you enjoyed anything about the earlier films or books, you will likely enjoy the movie as I did, but not because it is well done or meaningful. There should be room for guilty pleasures in our lives, including the film equivalent of a deep-fried Twinkie on occasion. At least this guilty pleasure won't go straight to your waistline.

Not Cool submitted by Shaylane Webb on November 11, 2014, 4:52pm I Hate The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2 Because It's So Scary For Me That Is Why I Like The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 1 The First Twilight Movie And The Twilight Saga Eclipse
