A heartwarming comedy that's all about food, family and a certain kind of magic that only happens at the dinner table. Martin is the culinary genius behind a successful restaurant and the widowed father of three daughters whom he has a compulsion to try and steer in the right direction. Hungry for their independence, the girls find themselves at odds with their traditionalist father.

Tortilla soup submitted by xinli on June 15, 2014, 10:42am Eat drink man and woman is better!

Delightful submitted by eileenw on January 20, 2021, 1:01pm An English-language remake of the film Eat Drink Man Woman with a bit less drama and a bit more humor than the original. Centered around great food and three grown daughters who navigate cultural, religious, and family notions of obligations, expectations, and their own independence. The three sisters are hilarious -- their spontaneous "Spanglish" song and dance while washing dishes after dinner (because this is decidedly a food-and-family-meals movie) is delightfully memorable. Ultimately this is a happy, feel-good movie that will appeal to people who enjoy movies like The Family Stone.

Beautiful food submitted by mandevil on March 10, 2021, 8:25pm Beautiful food, beautiful women plus Hector Elizondo
