Despite her own major achievements--she becomes the first licensed female glider pilot in the United States--Anne Morrow Lindbergh is viewed merely as Charles Lindbergh's wife. The fairy-tale life she once longed for will bring heartbreak and hardships, ultimately pushing her to reconcile her need for love and her desire for independence, and to embrace, at last, life's infinite possibilities for change and happiness.

good book submitted by ginnyb60 on July 12, 2014, 7:34am This well-written historical fiction gives a glimpse of what it might have been like inside the private lives of the Charles Lindbergh family. I recommend this title.
loved it submitted by airgood on August 1, 2014, 12:06pm This is a great read. Lindbergh is fascinating, and it's a wonder that anyone was able to live with him. If you like The Paris Wife, you will probably like this one too!
so-so submitted by smgop on August 3, 2021, 3:33pm I struggled with this book. Anne Morrow Lindbergh's "voice" was challenging for me. Certainly the Lindbergh marriage wasn't perfect.
