Succinct and Beautifully Written
submitted by sdunav on June 17, 2013, 2:57pm
This is the third in the short trilogy featuring Taylor, a teenager with Asperger's syndrome who is trying win her independence and find meaning in her life. This was excellent - and probably could be read alone, but all of the books are good and I'd like to see all them published together. You can order the first two from Mel (interlibrary loan - "Wild Orchid" and "Waiting for No One").
In this part of the story arc, Taylor and her mother are spending the summer in France with another family.
Must-read for teens with ASD submitted by mrajraspn08 on August 18, 2016, 11:00am Twice in my life, I have had the experience of reading a book and thinking, "Oh, man, there's someone else like me." This series was one of them. Taylor's struggles were incredibly relateable, and I found her courage and resilience inspiring. A fantastic book for anyone, but especially for teenagers with Asperger's who are going through life changes.
