Excellent Documentary submitted by ks1287 on July 30, 2013, 9:32pm This is an excellent documentary about the power of positive mentors in the lives of underprivileged youth in Memphis, Tennessee. Coach Courtney and his staff of all volunteer coaches help a group of boys overcome their circumstances and learn to believe in themselves, put the team first, and do what is right. It's a really powerful story and my favorite line was when Coach Courtney says, "Football doesn't build character. Football reveals character." It was definitely worthy of the Academy Award.
