Epic story submitted by mandevil on February 9, 2020, 7:48pm A story of four families through many centuries as Paris grows into a cultural center. Confusing at times because the author keeps skipping around on the timeline. The last few chapters are the most interesting as it finally brings all the threads together.
Ambitious Historical Fiction submitted by renarde7 on June 13, 2023, 9:45am I enjoy Rutherford's incredibly well-researched , centuries-spanning historical novels, and Paris is no different. Following several families though many of the major historical events the city has witnessed, it is both epic and personal. If you want to feel immersed in history, read this.
