Good resource for Tiny House-type planning

Great photos--lots of them and high quality image that are well captioned, too--of very contemporary, appealing homes and spaces, and very clear guidance on a number of topics.
I gave it 4.5 stars, though, because it features only a certain style of housing and decor: what I'd call a 'design/architectural school esthetic' governs the selection of materials, furniture, lighting--everything. This isn't a book for someone looking to make a small house--or make over an existing small house or apt.) from scrounged items, with a DIY-can-do approach. It's more a book for architects or people who will be working with an architect, or a coffee table book for looking at beautiful, sleek pics of architects' work.
That's not to say that it's at odds with a DIYer's version of Tiny House living. There are sections on how to shed 'stuff' so as to live in a smaller space, and some of the details of the spaces could be very helpful to a DIYer trying to make their own version of a Tiny/small House.
