Originally released as a motion picture in 2012.
Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, Tom Hardy.
It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.
Blu-ray, widescreen (16x9, variable 2.4:1 and 1.78:1); DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 (English), Dolby Digital 5.1 (Spanish), Dolby Digital 2.0 (English); requires Blu-ray player.
Blu-ray disc for use only with Blu-ray disc players, Blu-ray disc computer drives and Playstation 3 game consoles.

Best of the Trilogy? submitted by AMP35 on February 2, 2013, 4:35pm The case could be made that this is the best Batman movie of the Nolan trilogy. Regardless if you like Dark Knight better I think everyone can agree this is a great trilogy. Easily the best superhero trilogy and a very fitting ending for it all.

Great Movie submitted by jarroyo on June 19, 2013, 10:29pm This is a well-done movie. It has a good amount of action and even a few funny parts. This is a good ending to a good trilogy. This movie makes me want another one.

Lots of Action submitted by AprilCDB on August 1, 2016, 11:43am Maybe I'm not as big of a Batman fan as the others, I didn't think it was great. I thought it was good. Lots of action, special fx's, etc. Story line, when I was finally able to figure it out, was interesting.

Wow submitted by crp on August 24, 2019, 10:51pm Well done!’

Batman: The Montage submitted by Nehemiah9 on August 21, 2022, 9:50am Not a great movie but it was probably really affected by the death of Heath Ledger.

Ends well submitted by brooksza on July 21, 2023, 8:16am I last saw this on IMAX at midnight on opening night. I remember it was so intense and immersive. Bane's plan felt so overwhelming.

This time it didn't have quite the same feel but it was still pretty enjoyable. I love the look of Bane and the introduction. I think everything after the half break was really entertaining. Great cast and lots of fun TV actors showed up. Michael Caine is so good at the end of this movie. Lucius Fox feels lost in this. As does Ben Roethlisberger.

This is lower-tier Nolan but the bar is high. It was nice to watch with caption this time. I thought it's silly that in a time-sensitive situation Batman took time to paint his symbol in gasoline on the bridge, or for a long kiss with Catwoman when the nuke is close to exploding. The ending is a good place to finish but I feel like parts were written backwards and the exposition in the last few scenes was clunky.
