I never saw the original, but I didn’t hate this movie. It was good for what it was. Lots of action, some fun sci-fi elements, Colin Farrell was good-looking as usual. I couldn’t stand Kate Beckinsale though. Her entire role: flip hair, shoot gun, swear, flip hair, run, jump, flip hair, swear again. What you'd expect basically.

The original with Arnold was much better. Grade: C-.
