COMMUNITY REVIEWS
The originals were better
submitted by smgop on July 14, 2013, 1:13pm
This was a heart-racer, as were the others, but this one lacked something that originals had - can't quite put my finger on it.
Maybe it's time to let Jason Bourne and Treadstone fade into the horizon...
Actually, I kinda liked it...a lot!

Seeing others ratings (number of stars) and another review, I was ready for this to somehow fall short, but it never did. Pretty solid action/excitement all the way through and I never felt rushed past or asked to ignore some glaring plot inconsistency or weak point. Jeremy Renner was good and the various other actors too. It's always fun to see a supporting cast of actors who have, on their own, carried movies--to see them fill the support roles so effectively adds something special and fun and satisfying.
Hope you enjoy it too.
Set Up submitted by kathleen824 on August 27, 2013, 10:51am While I enjoyed the movie I found that the plot was nothing but a set up for a sequel.
Wanted to like it submitted by ishhewitt on July 10, 2016, 2:41pm Also wanted to watch it without having to look away every few minutes due to the shaky camera. Bad!
Just... not Matt Damon submitted by KOH on August 13, 2017, 10:09am It's an all right action movie, but the Bourne movies were so fun in part because of Matt Damon. Jeremy Renner just can't quite live up to the same hype.
Alright submitted by c_zhang on June 29, 2019, 1:52pm The plot was kind of boring and predictable. It was alright though.
Side-quel submitted by caburr47 on July 27, 2019, 9:44pm I actually choose to watch this Bourne iteration over the others. The plot has more of a purpose and I would be curious to see a Pre-quel with Oscar Isaac. The house scene I could rewatch over and over.
Nice movie submitted by crp on August 28, 2019, 8:40pm Really enjoyed this one of the series
