Interesting read submitted by seadocks on July 20, 2013, 6:57pm I felt this book was a good read. I went into it thinking it was just like all the other move off the grid books that are popular right now, each telling you what you need to do to be happy and all that stuff, but this book was more like a philosophy read. I felt that the author was explaining their feelings and views very well and not trying to make anyone do anything in a specific way, just sort of like having a conversation with someone and understanding why they do what they do. I felt like I was just meeting a neighbor and they were telling me what they loved about how they lived and what they did right and wrong. I was really impressed, I will have to reread it in a few years to see if I still feel the same, but I do have it on my read again list.
