An important book. submitted by GJBarnett2 on July 12, 2014, 10:32pm Not biography of selected generals but rather an inquiry into the Army's system for selection and evaluation of generals. Truly a "general indictment" of a system which rewards management rather than leadership. A must-read for those interested in the back-story of why we have succeeded and, more important, failed to turn short-term military victories into long-term foreign policy success.
