better to start with book 1, I assume submitted by hathaway1066 on August 5, 2013, 7:05pm I started this--read a few pages--and decided to return it. There was some introduction to bring the reader up to speed in terms of what happened in book 1 but I need a more coherent version of a story than this writer's style gives in a jump-into-the-middle-of-a-series reading.
