great illustrations, mediocre story submitted by cbrewster on August 26, 2013, 2:13pm I picked out this book as a potential book to check out for my child. In the end, I did not check out the book. The illustrations were very unique and enjoyable. It was the actual story that fell short. I liked the idea which was that Abe Lincoln was a ghost whose soul could not rest because he felt like there was still so much to do. After all these years of being a ghost, a little girl found him and took him on a tour to see how much things have improved. The tour was extremely short, which I felt was not adequate. It should have been the main focus.
