Recent Research on Dogs in the US

Mostly interesting non-fiction essays on the biology, evolution, and history of dogs (especially Labradors and Newfoundlands). Lots of eye-opening stuff about the ASPCA, no-kill shelters and pit bulls and the recent movement of puppies and dogs from red states to blue states (our dog came from the south, her pregnant mother actually gave birth on the trip north, and then a family associated with a rescue group fostered the puppies for 8 weeks).
