There are costumed heroes and anti-heroes. There is magic and science fiction and world-bending conspiracies and mind-bending plots. Symbolism,modern myth, urban architecture secrets, The Romantic Poets, the Marquis de Sade, dimensional travel.... This is intended to do your head in while also telling one big story. Unforgettable characters such as King Mob and Lady Fanny work together and apart to unravel cabals, unmask history, and tear the world a new one. Wrecking havoc in the name of humanity. Like the man said, it's a long, strange trip. But it's worth the muscle strain (from propping up this heavy book) and it's worth the lingering feeling that your brain is rather more twisted than it was before.
