Meh... submitted by cjkoho on July 1, 2014, 1:50pm I abandoned this not because it's a bad book, but because I wanted more of the friendship between the two women and less history of the Civil War. Made it about halfway before becoming too disinterested to continue.
Interesting submitted by ramcgarty on August 11, 2014, 8:42am I found this book very interesting and enjoyable. After I finished it, I got the book that had been written by the dressmaker, herself.
I stopped reading submitted by 21621031390949 on August 11, 2016, 9:26pm A friend of mine highly recommended this book. I generally like historical fiction, but I just couldn't get into this one.
