Interesting submitted by Zekicmom on August 19, 2015, 9:42pm It took me a while to get used to the style of the book, it is almost entirely quotes from interviews with various comedians, writers, executives and other entertainment industry folks. But there are some interesting stories and behind the scenes looks at the rise of some of the greatest women comedians ever.

Good stories, but completely written from quotes submitted by kpkozloff on August 24, 2018, 10:42am I love reading about the creation of comedic work, and was excited to read this book on women comedy writers and performers. However, the format of this book jumped around from point to point without enough information to really understand the time period (especially the 90s and after) the quotes were describing.
