The history we don’t teach submitted by jbranski on June 16, 2018, 10:09pm The is a truly stunning telling of the history of native tribes in the US. I picked it up because I wanted to know more about the US goverment’s treatment of tribes as settlers headed west. And this book shares that and more. Each chapter feels like a brutal repeat of the same narrative: US governmental leaders make promises and those promises are broken over and over and over again. I highly recommend this book.
