The film, philosophical rather than horror, features a ghostly town with a boarding school for gifted children, who are taught by strange creatures, whether aliens or mutants. The town undergoes unexplainable change of climate, which reminds of the Deluge. The main character, the writer Victor Banev (Gregory Hlady) has to undertake his own investigation, because his daughter is among the pupils of the odd school.
