A nice followup submitted by brady.emmett on August 8, 2013, 8:23am I find Gretchin Rubin to be a fantastic down to earth writer. She is honest about what works for her and always cautions that what makes her happy won't necessarily make you happy. This was a nice followup to her original The Happiness Project, with a lot more focus on family and friends.

disappointing submitted by Judeyblu on August 2, 2017, 10:03am Rubin's book is whiny, and the 'problems' and 'solutions' she discovers and solves are not worthy of a multi-chapter book.
In particular, the narrator delivers the book in a sing-song way that made it difficult to find authentic.
