An Unexpected Gem submitted by Meginator on July 3, 2019, 6:57pm I’m not sure why, but I was definitely primed for something quite different when I picked up this album. So discovering its bright, airy, and danceable indie pop was a very welcome surprise, particularly on a midweek morning at work. I particularly appreciated the way that the electronic elements played against the vocals, and the incorporation of sweeping instrumentals into songs that are still fundamentally radio-friendly. In this case, I’m definitely glad that my expectations were wrong!

Great, Not the Radio Music One Would Think submitted by Tess332 on June 23, 2023, 1:36pm This album is somehow one of the most beautiful things I have listened to. With some radio hits, I never really expected Passion Pit to be able to take me on a beautiful journey. This album is truly wonderful. A meditation on hope, sadness, and love.

Sad to see the collection does not have Tremendous Sea of Love which pulls on these ideas even further and more beautifully.
