But in this deadly game of cat and mouse, the stakes are raised with each gruesome slaying as the pair races to catch a madman before he brings every one of Poe's shocking stories to chilling life, and death.

COMMUNITY REVIEWS

So Terrible submitted by crazypockets on June 16, 2013, 1:26pm What was going on with this movie? It was boring, predictable, and seemed to have almost no historical truth in terms of Edgar Allan Poe's actual life. The best part was when a raccoon randomly showed up, because apparently Poe had a pet raccoon? Except there's no evidence he did. Why did they put that in there? Why did they do so many things with this movie?

Interesting submitted by majean on August 9, 2018, 6:21pm An interesting interpretation of historical events.

The Raven submitted by lstorc on July 18, 2019, 9:50pm The Raven seems like a marginally acceptable attempt at creating a Sherlock-Moriarty relationship. It is predictable.

The movie is a laudable attempt to bring Poe's (FICTIONAL, STUPID!) tales of mystery and horror alive submitted by Tassos on November 30, 2021, 8:55pm

The movie is a laudable attempt to bring Poe's (FICTIONAL, STUPID!) tales of mystery and horror alive by using this device of a murderer reenacting each tale in each of his or her murder, IDIOTS!
