Son submitted by SBNB on July 28, 2014, 7:42pm Great book! Great way to end the story that began with The Giver. I couldn't put it down.
Great submitted by raymondkangasjr on August 24, 2014, 8:39pm Great ending to The Giver. You should read all four boks but if you want immediate response to what happens you can skip to the fourth one.
Amazing submitted by peterflorence on July 13, 2015, 12:49pm Great book!! Amazing ending to The Giver.
Best out of the four submitted by AbbyJNg on August 26, 2015, 1:35pm This was, by far, the best book for me of the quartet. I loved how Lowry pieced the books together. It's an amazing conclusion.
abrupt ending submitted by camelsamba on July 14, 2017, 10:07pm I'm torn on how to rate this. The ending again feels too abrupt (as it did in Messenger). I don't feel like it provides closure on the Community that our threesome escaped from. In Messenger we got hints of how the village in Gathering Blue had changed/improved. I honestly expected this one to provide some insight into Giver's community. So many swirling thoughts when I finished the book...
