I Can See Why People Like It submitted by Meginator on August 23, 2020, 6:53pm This album is pretty sure of what it is and pretty good at delivering laid-back indie music that hints at, but doesn’t always deliver, deeper meaning in the lyrics. Despite the fact that they can feel a bit cloying at times, it’s obvious why these songs resonate with so many listeners with soaring choruses and unusual instrumentation. The whole combination didn’t really resonate with me personally, but it’s easy to appreciate the group’s talent and care for their craft.
