interesting submitted by watermelon on July 15, 2013, 8:52pm it was interesting to learn about the events that shaped the world as it is in the following maze runner trilogy

not a prequel submitted by unknown on July 30, 2013, 2:38pm This was not a prequel in any way to the original series. Its a bunch of 'run, fight, run' and then at the very end he just threw in a quick reference to one of the original characters. (Almost as if he forgot this was supposed to tie them together!) It was obvious that Deedee was Theresa, but no mention of Thomas until the very end and never did they put those two together. I kept waiting for the story to turn towards the storyline but it never did. It would be like making the prequels to Star wars without Darth Vader ever being mentioned.

Not good submitted by Noahwebb on June 24, 2014, 2:25pm It was a horrible

Awesome submitted by cat12310 on July 7, 2014, 3:57pm woah this book was so cool but the part where the main character dies sucks

cool submitted by kzheng on July 9, 2016, 4:45pm This isn't like most teen novels, cheesy and predictable. Dashner makes this interesting and there are new twists and turns in every book.

OK submitted by peterflorence on June 25, 2017, 8:14pm It was okay prequel as prequels go, but the storyline wasn't tied to the Maze Runner.

Very good submitted by wilwil04 on June 23, 2018, 1:23pm This book really shaped the other books together. It was based before the first maze runner book, but I would recommend reading it after you have read the series.

Alright submitted by c_zhang on June 27, 2019, 10:40pm It doesn't feel like a prequel at all, and some of the plot seemed kind of basic. It's okay though.

Good book submitted by jasonc1177 on July 31, 2019, 7:55pm this book is great12#@^&*()
