wonderful submitted by smgop on July 3, 2014, 8:08am Brene Brown never ceases to prompt one to dig deeply. This book is wonderful.

So needed submitted by lfmarcus on August 19, 2017, 4:08pm This book feels so extra timely, in the context of world events. We all need to be daring, these days, and not shrink down or abandon each other.

Interesting paradoxes submitted by terpsichore17 on July 10, 2018, 2:41pm The central theme, that being vulnerable is painful but rewarding, is one many need to hear.

However, it may be more efficient to watch Brown's TED talk instead of reading about it.

Breme Brown is not a know it all, but she teaches humility submitted by ccrose on August 7, 2019, 11:53pm What I notice about her is that, even though she has plenty of data about other people’s struggles, she most often tells about her own experiences first, how daunting it is to be vulnerable.
She’s effective as a person who teaches others to be open to change.
She made a great teaching video, just couple minutes long, using cartoon animals to show styles of relating to another person”s distress and pain.

Life changing submitted by NhuDo on August 30, 2019, 3:42pm This book is part therapy, part leadership and it will make you rethink the way we think about failure and struggle. It’s a must read for anyone interested in growing as a human and working towards self-actualization.

Repetitive submitted by asangtani on July 31, 2023, 1:00pm I love Brene Brown Books in general, but they are sometimes too similar to each other.
