A lively telling of a classic tale submitted by FordAlpha on August 15, 2018, 10:49pm This is a straightforward but lively telling of the classic story about four animals who join together as travelers to Bremen Town (which they never reach, instead settling in an abandoned home after scaring away a gang of thieves). It's a story about resilience, finding friendship, and putting talents to unexpected use. The illustrations are colorful and filled with visual detail. It's a fine read-aloud for kids with a developing attention span (that is, not the very youngest, but those able to sit through a longer story).
