Folk-Based Indie Rock submitted by Meginator on July 7, 2018, 1:47pm This album offers more of the aesthetic familiar from Of Monsters and Men’s singles, the main distinguishing features being an incorporation of folk elements and the blend of male and female vocals in the choruses. The interplay is often used to good dramatic effect, and the whole package is fairly unique in modern indie rock.
