Covering Their Parents' Classics submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 9:21am This album is built around a strong concept, presenting the group’s covers of songs originally made famous by their fathers, who were members of the Beach Boys and the Mamas and the Papas. Musically, these renditions stick closely to the source material, but the all-female vocals and modern production quality give these versions something a little bit different. This album isn’t particularly innovative or surprising, but it is a nice way to revisit some classic songs and some underrated gems from two of the best pop vocal groups of all time.
