This type of marketing-driven musical culture is frying the true creativity of bands who formed uniquely on their own, and are not trying to just make money. Boy bands who play music simply for the profit and popularity are clogging the airwaves, blocking out music as a form of true expression.

two things:
1: One Direction have proved talent!!! You can't fake playing guitar. and you also can't fake the X factor or childhood memories
2: MOST OF THE SONGS ARE NOT repeating the same thing. it's kind of at the end. It's also the structure for ALL good pop/rock songs these days. do it's pretty much like it, or GET OUT
Other than that these are absolutely WONDERFUL and I LOVE then and recommend this album to everyone. It is a AWESOME first album

Good First Album submitted by Meginator on June 17, 2017, 3:30pm It's very interesting to listen to One Direction's first album again, after they've all begun pursuing solo careers. As a boy band's first album, Up All Night is actually pretty good, with a few clunkers but a few hidden gems that are just as good as the singles. The lads' talent is already evident and the album delivers exactly what you'd expect of it, which makes it a success by my standards.
