Lack of Emotion
submitted by Spidon on August 29, 2012, 8:20am
For being such an important and ground-breaking event, the comic feels rushed and doesn't give any time for the proper emotional impact. Spider-Man is my favorite superhero, and the Ultimate universe started out so well, but I feel the quality just went down over the years, and everything is rushed to the point where huge events are skipped and I lose track of what is happening (see Ultimatum).
This comic does not do justice to the power of the character, Spider-Man. He is, and always will be, an important part of the Marvel or Ultimate Marvel universe, and this comics feels like they just cast him aside.
