Good memoir submitted by tlexcen on August 30, 2013, 1:30pm At times I laughed out loud at this interesting story of a young girl who sets out to hike the Pacific Coast Trail alone in a soul searching journey.

Well Read submitted by monkk on June 12, 2015, 3:06pm This is a good book that tells the story of a woman trying to find herself by hiking the PCT. It's engaging and easy to follow. The narrator on this audio book does a very nice job of capturing the character of Cherl Strayed.

I was caught up in her story, rooting for her to keep on walking.

Very cool book, was made into a movie and formed the basis of a humorous episode(or 2?) of the Gilmore Girls. I recommend seeing the Gilmore Girls episode(s), reading the book and then seeing the movie just for the fun of it. Definitely a fun chic-flic series (she says in the most complimentary way, i loved it!)
