Good for story time

I liked this although it felt a little bit like a Frankenbook (i.e. several picture book tropes mashed together): bears + color recognition + nature + idealized child/parent relationship. I'm not getting a strong Caldecott contender vibe from it (I read it because it was listed by Betsy Bird/Fuse #8 as a possibility) but I've been wrong before. I could see it being a well received story time title.
