Feeeeeeelings, Whoa Oh Oh, Feeeeeeelings submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 9:12am Like the other Pigeon books, “The Pigeon Has Feelings Too” takes advantage of a sly sense of humor that will appeal to both kids and adults. Everyone can enjoy the joke (at poor Pigeon’s expense), and the simple text and illustrations are accessible to a wide range of readers. Given that the joke revolves around feelings, the book makes for an excellent interactive read-aloud and has the potential to open a broader conversation about feelings with young readers, all while being very funny. This one goes by fairly quickly, but like everything Willems creates it’s a lot of (irreverent) fun.
