I Love America submitted by sara_armst on June 21, 2015, 6:55am This book is a poem written by Langston Hughes. The poem was written in 1925. I like it because it helps me realize how I should treat people. After we read the book, we talked about it as a family, and I learned a lot of things, especially about things that happened in the past and how important kindness is. I liked the pictures of the man in the book.
