Love The story

When I first got this book I wasnt sure if I would like it but it turned out to BE AMAZING! The balance between the medieval history and the romance is just great. This book is a series.

Assassin Romance

This medieval alternate history - aimed primarily at teens or young adults - tries hard to be Lois McMaster Bujold, but ends up more like Robin Hobb.

A poor farmer's abused daughter is sent to a convent dedicated to the saint of death, where she is trained to be an assassin and then sent to the royal court of Brittany in the 15th century. It wasn't quite as predictable as it the description makes it seem, but it wasn't overwhelmingly fantastic, either. A good read if you like poisons.

I didn't expect to like this book but I was pleasantly surprised. Well-crafted with a believable romance.
