Interesting story and great narrators! submitted by clmcdl on April 29, 2012, 9:10am Story draws you in and races to the ending. Will definitely read more of her work.

Well worth reading submitted by Cherrytreelane on July 14, 2012, 11:05am Great characters, really cool setting and a strong heroine that people will enjoy getting to know.

Printz Honor earns it's Award! submitted by vicki browne on August 21, 2012, 3:43pm Celtic legend tells of the Kapulishka, blood thirsty horses who come out of the ocean every November to race along the shoreline with brave riders from the island of Thesby. Sean Kendrick, who’s father was killed in this race has now won it four times. Puck Connolly, the 1st girl to have ever entered the race is racing too, with hopes of taking the winnings to pay off the farm her and her brothers live on, as her parents were also killed at sea by these horses. Stiefvater has created the soundtrack for this reading performance and plays the bagpipes and adds various percussive instruments, which makes for a haunting perfect accompaniment.

excellent readers submitted by kremen on July 6, 2015, 6:10pm the book is a great read, but the two readers are so good that it is even better to listen to it.

great listen submitted by cdeucher on August 4, 2023, 7:02am Read the book but loved the audiobook even more. Perfect voices and the music added another layer.
