fantastic submitted by unknown on July 11, 2012, 9:25pm The Key left off right where Sanctus left us. Author Simon Toyne makesDan Brown and James Patterson seem like novices when it comes to keeping you on the edge of your seat. This book was fast paced and full of great plot twists and turns. This is a must read trilogy for seekers of grand conspiracy

Too little and too much submitted by geneslibrary on March 21, 2017, 12:15pm Too few good guys too many evil ones, how ever will good prevail? The evil guys (yep, pretty much 100% guys) both need and despise their captive. We're told entirely too little about her and her experiences (really, how could she bleed for 2000 years, be starved for those 2000 years and retain any semblance of life?) Where did her body go when her 'essence' transferred to Liv? Why didn't she transfer her essence to one of the evil guys or maybe even the pope (sweeten him up a bit, no doubt) and get out of the mountain that way? And how exactly did the temporary Eve find the Garden of Eden? It seemed Toyne couldn't figure out how she could and so simply said: it happened, where she was at the moment, with no more explanation than that. And I had enough of his historical shorthand (or maybe Toyne would call it 'making it up as I write' as in Rome was solely responsible for destroying the library at Alexandria rather than letting early Christians take at least some credit for it.) I could go on but I'm bored with the story and won't be reading the next book in the trilogy.
