Good book submitted by bchapman630 on August 2, 2013, 9:00am My kids enjoyed this book but did NOT like the drawing as he had no face.
Teaches Acceptance submitted by cbrewster on August 25, 2013, 7:48pm Teaches acceptance on those who are different. It really reached me on a personal level. My child could not get past the fact that none of the characters have faces. I listened to an interview of the author and she said they had no faces so that her son could not be identified by the book so he couldn't be targeted.
Normalizing submitted by Xris on August 29, 2019, 10:51pm The parents love their son no matter what he wants to wear, and his brother loves him too. Great for gender-nonconforming and trans kids.
