Love the illustrations. The story is just so-so. It's especially hard to get a rhythmic flow while also stopping to admire the illustrations!

Sweet, unassuming book with excellent text about waiting, maybe not quite so patiently, for Spring. Perfect for a small group read aloud (because the pictures aren't detailed and won't be visible from far away.)

Loved the bear spread. Oh those pesky, illiterate bears, I tell you.
