Lion King Sequels submitted by asopijw65 on July 16, 2014, 3:06am Probably the only movie series to have decent sequels. Lion King 1 1/2 does not disappoint. It's the movie from Timone and Pumba's hilarious point of view. Highly recommended if you have seen at least the first Lion King. Love that a majority of the original voice actors returned for this too!

The Lion King 1 1/2 submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on August 5, 2016, 7:08pm This is a cute and smart idea for a followup movie to Disney's The Lion King. By telling the same story from a different point of view, as well as adding some new material relevant to that slant, it works and is interesting for kids. A great voice cast, too, including returning talents.

It is entirely from the perspectives of goofy Timon and Pumbaa, and its silliness is sure to please the whole family — as long as the family isn’t expecting the same level of gravity in the original Lion King.
