Amazing submitted by mysterio on June 27, 2012, 5:08am It's not everyday a movie series comes along that mixes magic, action, friendship, and ... Quidditch. The Harry Potter movies do all that and more, delighting fans of J.K. Rowling's books while also entertaining those new to the Potterverse. Like the books, the movies do get darker and more intense as the series progresses, so make sure your little Harry, Ron, and Hermione fans are ready for each new chapter before moving on.

Still entertaining! submitted by leenajong on August 20, 2015, 8:49pm This movie was made such a long time ago but still retains the wonder of Hogwarts!

Great submitted by kelleyc on August 5, 2016, 5:12pm Harry, Ron, and Hermione are the best friends you'll ever have.

good submitted by XKEAP on June 29, 2017, 6:42am I LOVED THE INVISIBILITY CLOAK

Magical submitted by lianayz on July 7, 2017, 3:55pm Some parts of this movie make Hermione a little too much like a Know it All. Otherwise 5 star rating! For making all the magic so realistic.

fun to revisit submitted by camelsamba on July 20, 2017, 9:12pm Earlier this summer we (re-) listened to HP & The Deathly Hallows, which inspired my teen to revisit the entire series. After reading the first book, he watched the movie - so I watched it alongside him. Apparently we wouldn't let him watch the scene with Quirrel and Voldemort when he was younger. It's fun to revisit the early days when you know the entire story arc - for example, in book 7 Harry finds a letter from Lily which mentions him zooming around on a broom as a baby. Similarly, it's fun to revisit these actors when you know what they have matured into.

A Great First Adaptation submitted by ajstemp on June 28, 2018, 10:50am This is a wonderful first movie adaptation. If anything, it sticks more closely to the books than many of the other movies (likely because of the length of later books), and it's an easily re-watchable classic. It captures the magic and mystery of the Hogwarts world!

Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone submitted by lstorc on August 6, 2018, 12:24am Closest book adaptation of the series!

These are great movies! submitted by SadieRose on August 16, 2018, 1:28pm The best

Great movie! submitted by Xris on August 26, 2018, 1:30am This movie brought the world of Harry Potter to life! (Though I miss Peeves in the whole series of movies.) I wish I had gotten a letter on my 11th birthday and could have gone to Hogwarts! I would have liked to have tried to ride a broomstick and/or tried Quidditch.
