Girl on the Prairie submitted by sdunav on June 17, 2017, 10:06am This historic fiction for young middle schoolers covers family relationships, school in a one-room schoolhouse, work in a sod house, and the American prairie, summer through winter. It would be a nice read (or read-aloud) for kids who enjoyed "Little House on the Prairie".
