COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Supernatural submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 24, 2012, 3:35pm Sam and Dean Winchester grew up fighting demons after one killed their mother and burned their home. After their father died in a (very foolish) deal with that same demon, the brothers have carried on his legacy fighting supernatural evil, hence the show's name.
As a science fiction fan, I'm always disappointed when shows such as "Supernatural" fail to rise above the sexist stereotypes of the genre. This show does have some interesting plotlines, but for the most part the show is about violence and machismo. The characters often make foolish decisions in a vain attempt to help each other.
It's OK to watch if you just want to veg out, but it's not my favorite.
