Really good

I'm so disappointed the film incentives were taken away and this show was pulled as a result! I don't usually enjoy crime/cop dramas AT ALL, but I really liked this one. The characters were interesting and well-acted, and it was really fun to see so many Detroit landmarks. But I think my favorite thing about the show was how well they did with representing so many different facets of the area. Detroit is one of those cities that it is very easy to assume only has one or two sides: cars and Motown. But this show highlighted things like: The Purple Gang, the close relationship with Canada (the characters make a trip to Windsor at one point), the Polish population, the suburbs, homelessness/squatter issues, and many many more. It was very well done, and I think accessible to more than just people from Detroit, and it's a shame it was cancelled.

Could be Better

Most interesting part was recognizing Detroit streets and landmarks.

Great show

I loved Detroit 1-8-7 it was one of the best series on television. I miss it it had a great cast and was well scripted. I also how it was putting a positive light on a otherwise negative image of the Detroit police department. I hope you the next viewer love the series as much as I did because it is one to watch.
