Funny! submitted by rimpopu on July 21, 2012, 10:19pm In this book Curious George notices Jumpy Squirrel burying his acorn in the yard for later use. George buries food and other items from the house in the yard for later use too. Man with the Yellow Hat teaches him an important lesson that only seeds are buried in the yard. This was shown in one of Curious George episodes in PBS. The fact that my kids had already seen it on TV did not diminish their interest in listening to the story. Few simple words on each page makes it an appropriate book for early readers.
