Alright! submitted by DTrier on January 27, 2012, 5:01pm I have been a Coldplay fan since "Parachutes" was released. They have had, and continue to have great staying-power. Coldplay and Rhianna working together? Never would have thought it and it's great. They are adapting nicely to the electro-pop trend without losing their souls.

the best submitted by ftan on July 17, 2012, 8:55am i think that this album was coldplay's best. they had several hit singles and all of the songs were catchy and had great melodies. i liked all of them.

still good! submitted by allysonpurple on August 8, 2014, 9:03am These guys are still so creative! All the songs are catchy enough to stick in your head for a while or get you through a long drive with lyrics to think on. And the song featuring Rhianna is actually one of my favorites-- who knew??

Mylo Xyloto submitted by Varshini on July 17, 2019, 8:05pm Paradise is one of my favorite Coldplay songs! 5/5 stars.

Actually Pretty Good! submitted by Meginator on June 17, 2023, 11:46pm Does this music sound a little bit like it’s calculated to be as appealing as possible to as many people as possible? Sure, but it’s still incredibly effective, and the band has a great sense of their strengths while knowing precisely how to best capitalize on them; for something so mainstream, it’s quite compelling and distinct. Slightly cloying with the meandering lead guitar parts and Chris Martin’s often falsetto vocals, these songs still capture something fundamental about the human experience and they invite the listener to sit back and simply experience them in a way few other pop-rock bands can manage while still crafting catchy melodies and maintaining general appeal. This may not be the height of musical creativity or expression, but there’s a kind of honesty to it that cuts through the layers of artifice and gets to something deep. Or maybe I just connected to it; regardless, I think that Coldplay deserve a lot more credit than they usually get for their ability to consistently create meaningful songs that resonate with tons of people, and this album represents the band at their very best.
